Big girl...in training

Last night, Gracie informed me that she is a big girl, and she wants to make her own dinner!
My thoughts...RIGHT ON!
On the menu:
PB&J!
First, we smash on lots of peanut butter (she tells me)...
Then we have to put jelly on...v e r y c a r e f u l l y...
Oh, and don't forget to sing the jelly song (she made it up)...I have video, if I can figure out how, I'll post it!
Taste test...
So hungry, that was hard work!
Best sandwich EVER!!

Jake, he just watched...
And ate the chicken and rice that dad made him!

Ahh, I love these ages!

I just love the smile, missing teeth or some that have grown in half way! I get that smile from my Gracee, in the last month I have had to pull two teeth in public..one in McDonalds and one walking into our dentist office. They wanted to hire me right on the spot. There are some milestones that make you feel warm and fuzzy..one of them is when they want to make their own PB&J's!

Ya, I'm loving this age so much! She is so stinking funny! She isn't missing any teeth right now...she has a huge gap between her front teeth. We always thought it was because she sucks her thumb, but the dentist told me last week that she has a very slight case of cleft palate. He said she will need braces later on to fix it. What kids doesn't get braces these days?! LOL! We are saving now!
